Teaching system

The Future Integrated Schools have established a structured teaching framework that clearly defines the subjects and their allocated time periods per week. This systematic approach enhances the school’s educational system, facilitating efficient coordination, supervision, and allocation of subjects and activities to promote teaching excellence. This foundation supports the implementation of standard operating procedures and ensures a well-organized and enriching learning environment in each classroom through meticulously crafted class schedules.

During my participation in the SEA Teacher Student Exchange program, there are a lot of things that I observed between the Schools in the Philippines and Future Integrated Schools.

         1. Classes at Future Integrated Schools are held on Saturdays,

unlike the Philippine system where lower-grade levels usually

have classes from Monday to Friday.

        2. Starting the week with a flag ceremony on Mondays.

        3. At Future Integrated Schools, the standard duration for each

subject is typically 40 minutes, whereas in the Philippines, class

durations can vary based on grade level and may extend up to an hour.

       4. The strict adherence to punctuality at Future Integrated Schools,

where classes conclude promptly when the alarm sounds, that

contradicts with the practice in the Philippines, where teachers

occasionally permit students to stay a little longer.

MATERIALS AND OTHER LEARNING RESOURCES

The learning resources offered at the Future Integrated School are diverse and abundant, providing students with a wide range of educational tools. Education at this institution goes beyond conventional textbooks and traditional methods, embracing a holistic approach that incorporates a variety of materials and sources.

         This resources are:

          1. The library contains a vast assortment of books and resources,

fostering a spirit of exploration among students as they delve into

              the world of literature.

          2. A clinic on the premises demonstrates the school’s commitment

to prioritizing the well-being of its students

          3. There is a magnetic chalkboards that are multi-functional, serving

as both traditional blackboards and whiteboards, and can be

            adjusted to different heights.

         4. An individual textbooks for students and teachers, all in the

             Vietnamese language.

         5. The school utilizes technology-driven teaching such as

projectors and televisions, which greatly assist teachers in

             delivering captivating and interactive lessons.

         6. There is a playground that serves as a lively environment that

promotes both physical and social development.

At Future Integrated School, students are provided with an environment that nurtures their academic and personal growth. Through a wide array of learning resources and a holistic approach to education, students are encouraged to explore their curiosity and develop in all aspects. It is a place where education knows no limits, fostering an atmosphere of boundless possibilities.

Measurement and Evaluation

The Future Integrated School evaluation for students is done before and after the teaching and learning process for there are activities given at this time.

Also, the student evaluation is a student-centered approach that revolves around the student, placing emphasis on personal development, critical thinking, and the development of practical life skills.

Through my observation and demo-teaching in Vietnam, I have gained a distinct viewpoint on the significance of evaluation in the education system. It goes beyond merely assessing performance or knowledge of a student; instead, it serves as a means to cultivate their  personal growth and achievement.

The curriculum of the Future Integrated School includes a broad range of topics and is tailored to student's holistic development, whilst at the same time ensuring that it does not prejudice their learning journey. This includes language, mathematics, science, art, technology, ethics, morals and physical education.

Key Subjects:

  1. Language:  This provides an excellent foundation in the Vietnamese language, which enables students to be exposed to international communication by integrating English and Cambridge English

  2. Mathematics:  With instruction in Vietnam Mathematics and English mathematics, students are developing their understanding of analytical thinking.

  3. Science: This covers social and natural sciences, history, and geography, with an international perspective through English science.

  4. Art and Culture: It nurtures dance, fine arts, craft-engineering. and music appreciation.

  5. Technology: Learning computer science is a valuable pursuit that equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to understand and manipulate the inner workings of computers, algorithms, and software systems

Three Guiding Principles:
1. English as a Mother Language

2. Theory and Practical Application

3.  Individualized Learning

Future Integrated Schools in Vietnam have developed a forward-thinking and encompassing educational program that establishes rigorous academic benchmarks while fostering the progress of each student, irrespective of their individual requirements. This exemplifies the school’s commitment to delivering exceptional education to all students, with a focus on placing students at the forefront of the learning journey.
